Back to Toronto: Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
In October of 2010, I was a visiting professor of plastic surgery at the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (CSAPS) annual conference in Toronto, Ontario.
As a visiting professor I performed live surgery of my superior pedicle short scar breast reduction technique.
I also gave a lecture on the same topic, as well as breast reduction using a free nipple graft technique and short scar breast lift.
All patients ended up with a fantastic result and the conference was a great opportunity to see some other leading practice techniques, as well as new products available.

Visit to Toronto: University of Toronto Annual Breast Surgery and Annual Aesthetic Symposiums
Early last year, I attended the University of Toronto Annual Breast Surgery Symposium and following that the University of Toronto annual Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Symposium. The emphasis at both these meetings was on new practice procedures and use of new products for aesthetic plastic surgery. Some of these have now been incorporated into my practice

University of British Columbia Plastic Surgery Research Meeting
In April 2010 I was invited to present at the annual University of British Columbia plastic surgery research meeting. I presented to the residents and surgeons my free nipple graft variation of the breast reduction procedure which I believe gives the very best cosmetic results for large breast reductions.

Travels Abroad: My Time As a Visiting Professor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
In November 2009, I was invited to visit Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a visiting Professor of Plastic Surgery at an international plastic surgery conference. During my time in Riyadh, I performed two days of surgery as well as giving several lectures to the plastic surgeons, nurses and residents. I demonstrated my two specialized techniques for breast reduction which leave excellent aesthetic and long-lasting results. I also performed my techniques for lower and upper eyelid surgery.
While at the conference, I also had the opportunity to observe and learn some techniques from Europe’s leading plastic surgeon for cosmetic injectable fillers.
The conference was a great success, with all of my patients achieving excellent results. Never having been to Saudi Arabia before, it was a wonderful experience to see and to learn about the country and culture.
